The main Session room, the Auditorium, is divided into sections. Each day as you choose your seat, please make a note in your legislation guide of which section and row you are sitting in. For lunch breaks and at the end of the day, participants will be dismissed by section to limit crowds gathering at the exits. Knowing your section will also help identify possible contact tracing if needed.
Participants will be given extended lunch breaks to help control the traffic in and out of the Session room and in the food and beverage areas of the convention center. Upon leaving the room for lunch, please do not linger to allow time for voting delegates to quickly move through the building.
Health and Hygiene
• Please wear a mask as conditions warrant.
• Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Use hand sanitizer when you are not able to wash your hands.
• Consider alternate methods of greeting your fellow nobles such as “air” fist bumps or elbow bumps.
• Be mindful of social distancing and personal space when possible.
Cleaning & Disinfecting:
The MCC is an accredited GBAC STARâ„¢ facility and has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention. The MCC has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting
with EPA-approved disinfectants in all public and private spaces with an emphasis on high touchpoint areas and has incorporated new technology such as Electrostatic Disinfecting Machines.
Airflow:
The majority of all meeting rooms are equipped with Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization which works by safely introducing ions into the airflow, combining with particles in the air such as viruses, bacteria, odors, and other airborne particles, and then eliminating or neutralizing them. Other meeting room spaces utilize hospital-grade MERV 13 filters. All of our spaces are flushed with outside air before and after use. Engineers monitor all occupied spaces and maximize the use of outside air.
